Why Wired Goat

Where the name came from.

Aaron's wife Jane likes goats. GOAT means greatest of all time, which Aaron won't say about himself but will let the name imply. And the best-known goat in Spokane is a welded one in Riverfront Park, built for Expo '74 by Sister Paula Turnbull out of old pipe, recycled springs and railroad spike ends. It eats trash, and people still feed it. The longer version is on our about page.

We picked the name on purpose and we'd rather be held to it. Here's what that means once we're actually on your property.

You'll know the price before we start. Clear, upfront pricing. No hidden fees, no inflated estimates, and no mysterious charges that turn up on the bill later. If we find something once the cover is off, you hear about it then, not at the end. We publish our real price ranges so you can see the numbers before you call anyone.

We handle the permitting. Electrical permits around here come from Labor & Industries everywhere except inside the City of Spokane, which runs its own program, and the building permit is a separate agency again. Navigating that shouldn't be your problem. We pull the permit, schedule the inspection, and meet the inspector.

We know what's actually in these houses. A lot of Spokane's older stock is still running on service that was sized for a household with no central air, no EV and no home office. South Hill homes need work that respects lath and plaster. Browne's Addition apartments were carved out of single-family houses and metered afterward. That isn't brochure copy: it's what we open up every week.

For a business, downtime is the real bill. A restaurant with one dead circuit stops serving. A shop with a failed panel closes the doors. The repair is usually the smaller number. So we schedule commercial work around your hours instead of ours, and when something is down we tell you honestly when we can be there rather than promising a window we can't hold.

We work both sides of the state line. Washington and Idaho have no reciprocity, so a lot of Spokane electricians can't legally cross it. We're licensed in both, which covers Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Hayden and the rest of Kootenai County.

I called Aaron as he was referred by my plumber. After calling last minute, Aaron was kind enough to go above and beyond normal operating procedures to help me. Aaron went to his boss to ask to personally come to my home and help me. Knowing there is a company and a person willing to help when you need it the most - is worth more than gold. Thank you Aaron! Your number is in my phone anytime I need an electrician.
